Glass Vacuum Container Starter Kit 8PC - New!

I was so thrilled to get this PrepSealer vacuum-sealer set! It is so easy to use and comes with two heavy-duty containers made of borosilicate glass with vacuum lids, four vacuum-seal bags, the manual vacuum pump, and a storage/carry tote bag. The manual pump is all you need to quickly remove the extra air from the glass containers or plastic bags. I'm sure I will want to get extra bags to use with the pump. This product speaks quality from beginning to end. I highly recommend!

This is a generous set of everything you need to get started sealing foods. It includes a two cup glass container, a four cup glass container, two smaller bags, and two larger bags. It also comes with a manual pump and a carrying/storage case.

I have another system that uses a battery charged pump and I actually prefer the manual. You don't have to keep it charged and it just works every time. This pump also works with another brand of bags that I have.

Everything works really well and is easy to clean. It is all dishwasher safe too, but they are easy to clean by hand.

This is a great set for food sealing, and would actually make a great house warming present. It is a good value and the carrying case is a nice touch.

These really hold a good seal and keep things under pressure. I tested them out under water after I put them under pressure and there was no leaks. To release the pressure is so easy and fast. All you have to do is poke the blue thing on the lid and it releases the pressure easily.
The pump works quick at creating a vacuum and so simple to use.
The glass containers remind me of my Pyrex ones so I'm hopeful they will be pretty durable.

I just discovered this! Got the set of 8 and I noticed I waste less food, it’s reduced my compost, and I can enjoy fresher food longer. Easy to use the manual pump with containers and bags. Just wondering how I can get more containers and bags separately since I meal prep for the week. This is a kitchen staple I recommend, especially for its performance, quality and overall decent value. I can’t believe I didn’t know about this until recently!

These handy containers and bags are great if you cook your own food without preservatives. The vacuum pump is easy to use, creates a strong seal and doesn't take much room to store. The set comes with 4 bags (2 small and 2 large) as well as a large and small glass container. The bag in the photo is a large bag holding some greens I purchased at the farmer's market. I use the smallest glass container for my avocado halves / guacamole cups because I don't like the taste once they go brown. This does the trick!

The fabric bag that comes with it is a bit of a mystery, but I'm sure I'll use it somewhere. It's slightly insulated, and big enough to fit the largest glass container, but not much more than that as a lunch box goes.

Overall, I'm happy with this set, but I do wish a couple of things, which are not enough to take off stars for. First, I'd like the snaps on the lids to be a little bit stronger, as nearly any effort on them is enough to release them. That's fine when the container is sealed, but if not sealed, there's a chance you might drop the container on the floor if you're not careful. Second, I wish that the containers could stack, as the lids are raised in a convex manner and nothing can be placed on top of them without sliding off.

I agree with other reviewers that it would be great if the seller would offer various containers and bags for purchase without the pump. I see myself using the bags more often than the containers, especially for freezing.
